TRADITIONAL ACUPUNCTURE

H O W  C A N  A C U P U N C T U R E  H E L P  M E ?

Acupuncture offers a complete approach to well-being. It’s not just about working with a particular complaint; it’s about understanding how to maintain health, cope with stresses, and really get the best out of life.  By working naturally to restore and maintain health for all ages, acupuncture benefits a huge range of issues. These include backache, muscular injuries, strains, insomnia, migraine, arthritis, and also IBS, to name just a few. Sue can assist with hormonal problems, PMT, an irregular cycle, or menopausal symptoms.

At Hove and Brighton Acupuncture with Sue Kalicinska, you will enjoy a wonderful treatment that addresses the
whole of your well-being.

Having been an acupuncturist for over 30 years now, Sue loves this truly holistic approach to health. She finds it very beneficial to be able to treat the whole person, not just the disease. Acupuncture addresses the cause as well as the symptoms, with no unwanted side effects! Acupuncture treats you, the individual, first.

For more than 30 years, she has been helping people address all kinds of health problems, including back and neck pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, digestive problems and allergies, arthritis, and hormonal issues, to name a few. She also works with men and women on fertility problems, with women during pregnancy, and with babies and children. Check out the acupuncture research references page for more details.

We are healthy when the flow of “Qi” or vitality is precise and robust in our being. Dis-harmony and dis-ease arise when this energy flow becomes blocked or depleted. Appropriate choice of treatment and, therefore, acupuncture points along the meridians work to re-establish and maintain the energy flow. Acupuncture also restores the natural balance of our body and mind.

Treatment of various points includes the shallow insertion of hair-fine needles and/or the use of acupressure. The therapy is suitable for any age from newborn upward. It is amazingly relaxing as it helps release our blocks and stress. An intricate diagnostic system provides preventative medicine and corrects imbalances in their early stages.
