Welcome
I'm Sue, a traditional acupuncturist, holding clinics in Hove and Brighton. I'm a graduate of the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM), where I trained as an Acupuncturist. I'm a founding member of the British Acupuncture Council and have been an Acupuncture Practitioner since 1987.
I first experienced acupuncture when searching for help with hay fever. I was amazed to find that I gained relief! I knew I had found something powerful and wanted to share the results with others.
I have worked with people of all ages, dealing with problems such as back and neck pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, digestive problems, allergies, hormonal issues, and children’s health, to name a few. Acupuncture has a detailed diagnostic system and can thus be used as a form of preventive medicine, correcting imbalances in their early stages.

What is Acupuncture?

It is a beautiful natural system of medicine that restores and maintains our health. Treatment works by activating a person’s own recuperative and healing power. Acupuncture has been available for over 2000 years. Acupuncture remains very much part of the repertoire of Chinese Medicine.
This ancient practice works with “Qi” (chee), or the vital energy within our bodies. This energy flows continuously through the meridian system. It is an energetic network linking specific points. These, in turn, influence our health and also our well-being in all its aspects.
